Information about the auditor
On February 20, 2018, the DWS Group GmbH & Co. KGaA (DWS KGaA) appointed KPMG AG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft as the DWS KGaA's auditor and group auditor for fiscal year 2018 at an Extraordinary Shareholders Meeting proposed by the Supervisory Board and, if necessary, as the auditor for the review of interim financial reports prepared prior to the Annual Shareholders Meeting in 2019. Audit firms from the KPMG Group also audit the majority of the subsidiaries included in the consolidated financial statements as well as the non-financial report and the dependent company report required by law.
KPMG AG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft has been acting as auditor for DWS KGaA since the audit of the 2016 annual financial statements.
The auditors responsible for this period are Ulrich Kuppler and Thomas Hommel.
