DWS Appoints Eva Huang as CEO of DWS Far Eastern Taiwan
DWS has appointed Eva Huang as Chief Executive Officer of DWS Far Eastern in Taiwan. Eva reports to Vanessa Wang, Head of Client Coverage Division (CCD), Asia Pacific (APAC).
Eva has been with DWS since 2015 and most recently served as Head of Client Coverage, Greater China. Under Eva’s stewardship, DWS’ assets under management in Taiwan grew steadily over the last three years. Commenting on Eva’s appointment, Vanessa Wang, said: “In cooperation with Far Eastern Group, our JV partner in Taiwan, we aim to elevate our Taiwan business strategy to the next level and deepen the penetration of the Taiwanese asset management market with Eva's appointment, while also addressing other strategic areas including digital and innovation solutions.”
With Digital being a future driver of our global strategic goals, Eva will also assume regional leadership in digital initiatives such as tokenization and embedded asset management.
Commenting on Eva’s new regional responsibility in CCD for Digital & Innovation solutions, Holger Naumann, Head of APAC, added: “At DWS, we see digital technologies impacting all parts of the asset management value chain at an ever-increasing speed. As the regional lead in the innovation council, Eva’s foresight, aptitude, experience and industry relationships will help anchor DWS firmly in APAC to strengthen our digital asset management capability.”

Eva has over 20 years of industry experience and prior to joining DWS, she held senior business development roles with a focus on the institutional client segment at BlueBay Hong Kong and Allianz Global Investors Taiwan. She was also the Representative Office of BlueBay Hong Kong. Eva holds a Master of Business Administration degree from National Chenchi University, Taiwan.
